A WEATHER warning put in place for high winds across Worcestershire has been upgraded to amber.
The Met Office's weather warning, which had been yellow for high winds, has been upgraded to amber as Storm Francis hits the county.
Residents are being warned to stay safe as winds reach up to 26mph in Wyre Forest this evening (Tuesday).

There has been a report of a fallen tree in the Areley Kings area of Stourport as a result of the high winds.
The amber weather warning is in place until the end of Tuesday, August 25.
The Met Office said: "Very strong winds are likely to bring disruption to parts of England and Wales Tuesday during afternoon and evening.
"Longer journey times and cancellations likely, as road, rail, air and ferry services may be affected
"Some roads and bridges likely to close
"There is a good chance that power cuts may occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage
"Flying debris is likely and could lead to Injuries or danger to life and probably some damage to buildings and trees, such as tiles blown from roofs and branches on roads
"Injuries and danger to life is likely from large waves and beach material being thrown onto coastal roads, sea fronts and properties."
