OVER 50 fallen trees have been cleared as Storm Francis hits Worcestershire.
This included a fallen tree in the Droitwich Road between Rushock Trading Estate and Cutnall Green.
The road was closed for some time on Tuesday afternoon and people were warned to avoid the area. The road has since reopened.
An amber weather warning for wind was in place throughout Worcestershire on Tuesday, August 25.
Worcestershire Highways and Travel posted on Twitter: "We dealt with over 50 fallen trees around Worcestershire yesterday as Storm Francis hit - thanks to @Ringway_Worcs and specialist tree contractors for their clearance efforts, plus some public-spirited individuals!
"Thanks also to everyone that reported a problem to us."
