STOURPORT residents are celebrating after their lucky postcode bagged them £1,000 each in the People's Postcode Lottery.
Three neighbours in Lower Lickhill Road won the daily jackpot after DY13 8RE was announced as the winning postcode on Tuesday, September 8.
It comes just four months after two Stourport neighbours in Loweswater Road won the prize in May.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt sent her well wishes to the winners.
She said: “What lovely news for our winners! Congratulations to them and I hope they enjoy spending their winnings.”
A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
Tuesday's draw was promoted on behalf of Clic Sargent, which has received more than £10.9 million in funding thanks to players.
The charity provides vital emotional, practical, financial and clinical support to young cancer patients and their families during and after treatment.
