A HOMELESS charity based in Kidderminster has received a generous donation from the proprietors of a local supermarket.
Trustees at Wyre Forest homeless charity HELP visited the Fletchers at Select and Save store in Burcher Green on Sunday to collect a cheque for £251 from the Gora family which runs the shop.
Councillor Shazu Miah said: "It was a real pleasure to receive this generous donation today, we are extremely grateful to the Gora family."
Cllr Fran Oborski added: "The Gora family has a wonderful record of generosity to the community on Comberton and to the NHS and it is wonderful to see them extending that generosity to HELP. They have recognised the very valuable and indeed life-saving work being done by HELP."
The money will go towards HELP's ongoing work supporting the homeless and people in need across Wyre Forest.
