REDDITCH residents are invited to take part in a survey which helps inform the council’s plans and decisions for the year ahead.

The annual Community Survey asks residents for their views and opinions about issues affecting them, their local area, and Redditch Borough Council services.

The results are then reported to members and officers of the Council.

Redditch Borough Council’s portfolio holder for corporate management, Cllr David Thain, said: “Our residents provide a valuable insight for the council when we come to set out strategy and plans for the year ahead.

“Of course we still face difficult decisions but hearing from our residents means we know what’s important to them and together we can help unlock and shape the future of the borough.”

Leader of the Council, Councillor Matt Dormer, added: “This is a once a year opportunity for people who live here to tell us what they are thinking so we can bear this in mind when we come to make important table top decisions.

“Of course we can’t please everyone but the more people we hear from, the more information we have to help us make the right decisions for Redditch.”

The 2020 survey is available for anyone to take part at redditchbc.gov.uk/consultations. It covers a range of areas and should take about 15 to 20 minutes to complete, with the option to 'save and continue' if you want to take a break while filling it in.

The closing date for responses is 5pm on Monday, October 19.
