Wyre Forest Covid-19 cases have risen again, with rises also recorded across the county.

Wyre Forest has seen the biggest jump up in Worcestershire, up to 49.4 from 23.7 in the week before.

The latest Public Health England (PHE) figures show Worcester had, during the week up to September 24, an infection rate of 38.7 cases per 100,000 people, up from 20.7 the week before.

The PHE figures are based on tests that have been carried out both in laboratories and in the wider community, and provide the data for each local authority area.

Wychavon is up to 27 from the 7.7 the week before, Bromsgrove has reached 33 up from 19, Redditch saw a rise to 38.7 from 14.1, while Malvern is at 24.1 up from 11.4.

It should be noted that areas have typically entered local lockdowns when cases were around 70 and higher.
