WITH Christmas less than three months away, Clent garden centre Cherry Lane is pulling out all the stops to organise an array of socially-distant and Covid-safe festive fun events - and tickets are already selling fast.

While many event organisers across the country are having to cancel plans for Christmas, bosses at the value garden centre at Barnett Hill are determined to ensure customers will still be able to enjoy a range of magical events this festive season.

Tickets for Breakfast with Santa, wreath-making workshops and other festive entertainment are already selling out fast as shoppers look ahead to December.

Laura Chapman, assistant manager of events and visual merchandising for Cherry Lane, said: “This year, we’re finding our customers are getting more excited about Christmas much earlier than usual.

"While other festive events have had to be cancelled across the country because of Covid-19, we have been working hard at Cherry Lane to ensure we can still deliver our Christmas magic, safely and within the latest Government guidelines.

"We have events for all the family, from Breakfast with Father Christmas, including socially distanced entertainment, to wreath making workshops and even a Santa Paws event for dogs.”

The garden centre will also be offering a range of gifts, treats, lights and Christmas decorations which shoppers looking to get ahead with their festive shopping can snap up in store.
