A NEW Burger King is coming to Oldbury - and the chain has finally revealed when it is set to open.
The fast food giant is opening a new restaurant with a drive-thru on Oldbury Green Retail Park, close to Oldbury town centre.
Fast food fans will still have to wait a while to enjoy a Whopper as the restaurant is expected to open its doors in January.
A spokesman for the fast food chain said: "We can confirm that there will be a new restaurant opening at this location in the new year."
Site owner BlackRock UK Property Fund Ltd was granted planning permission in January to build a single-storey fast food restaurant with a drive-thru.
The restaurant, next to the Homebase store, will take out 32 parking spaces.
Building work was underway back in July.
The retail park, which boasts stores including Poundland, Next, Pets at Home and Carpetright, will still have 504 car parking spaces after the Burger King store opens.
