Family's tribute to Kingswinford crash victim Izzie Floyd

Izzie, aged 16, died alongside Lucy Tibbetts, also 16, and driver Joshua Parkes, aged 21, after a Skoda Fabia they were travelling in hit a tree in Bromley Lane on Tuesday October 13.

Nathan Cartwright, aged 18, died four days later on Saturday at Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital where a fifth passenger continues to fight for life after being pulled from the wreckage.

Izzie, a student at Dudley College, had been a rear seat passenger in the car which was left unrecognisable after the crash.

Her family say their lives will never be the same without her and in a statement released by West Midlands Police they have now paid a touching tribute to the "so loved and adored" teenager.

It said: “Izzie, was so perfect, such a kind, loving person. Her pretty face and tiny body with such a big full heart, her kind, crazy, cheeky ways and hearty laugh were just a tiny sprinkle of the magic and happiness we shared.

"Izzie was so loved, cherished and adored by so many family and friends and we were so truly blessed to have her in our lives.

“Izzie had started a new chapter in her life at Dudley College and her ambition and goals had begun. Izzie had never been happier and this gives us some small comfort, as she goes on her path to heaven in peace.

“We are all so devastated and heartbroken by her loss, and our lives will never be the same again.

"She will now live on in all our hearts and all the wonderful memories of all those who loved her so very much."

Neil Thomas, chief executive officer and principal at Dudley College of Technology, said Izzie had joined the college at the start of the new academic year just a few weeks ago and had been studying to become a hairdresser.

He said: "She was a sweet, popular and confident young woman who had made a very positive impression on everyone in just a few short weeks.

"We, along with so many others, are deeply saddened that Isabelle was not able to fulfil her great potential both in her chosen career and in life."

Police say specialist officers continue to support the families of those killed in the crash along with the teenager who remains in hospital, named on social media as Izzie Ramsell.

She remains in a serious but stable condition - a spokesman for the force said.

A police investigation into the crash is also underway, with the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) also examining the circumstances that led up to the collision as a patrol car was said to be in the vicinity at the time but it was not known if there was any interaction with the Skoda.
