IT'S not too late to pick your own pumpkin in time for Halloween!

Fancy dress parties will be a no-go this year due to social distancing rules, but there's still plenty of activities to get you in the Halloween spirit, and what better way than a day out to one of the pumpkin patches near Kidderminster?

Wrap up warm, pick a pumpkin and spend a fun afternoon calving a ghoulish face to light up your window at home.

Stanley's Farm Shop

Stanley's Farm Shop is a family run farm near Chaddesley Corbett. The farm covers around 250 acres, including 25 acres filled with pick-your-own fruit and vegetables.

The team at Stanley's grow most of the produce themselves, including potatoes, strawberries, sprouts, carrots and even grow a range of herbs.

Visitors can pick their own seasonal vegetables all year round in Stanley's PYO fields at Fishers Castle Farm - and that includes pumpkins throughout October.

And once you've picked your pumpkin, you can browse the delicious selection of seasonal produce, fresh bread, cakes and meat in the farm shop.

There's no need to book - people can pick their own pumpkin anytime during the usual shop hours.

Clive's of Cropthorne

There's plenty of great photo opportunities at the picturesque Clive's of Cropthorne, near Pershore.

It's free to turn up and there's no need to book in advance - just grab a wheelbarrow, take a walk through the pumpkin patch and pick your own pumpkin, before getting it weighed at the till.

There's a lovely farm shop, selling a range of local produce and meats, and a cafe on-site.

Top Barn Harvest Shop and Farm Park

The pumpkin patch at Top Barn Farm has been re-stocked ready for the half-term.

There's car parking, free entry and no need to book advance to pick you own pumpkins.

Top Barn's pumpkin offering is small and simple, but promises a great day out for families.

Follow the pumpkin trail and pick your own pumpkin, then grab a spiced pumpkin latte at the Coffee Cabin or a bacon bap or homemade cake.

It's open daily, admission is free and there's no need to book. Visitors can also pick up a feed bucket for the farm's animals for an added fee.

The farm shop is fully-stocked with homegrown, homemade and locally sourced food.

Social distancing measures are in place - payment is taken outdoors at the Coffee Cabin, sanitising stations are available, and only one person per party is allowed in the farm shop at a time.

Bells Farm Shop

The pumpkin patch at Bells Farm Shop in Hartlebury has been attracting visitors throughout October - and, according to the Facebook page, they're nearly sold out!

But not to fear - there's still plenty of reasons to pay them a visit!

In time for Halloween, Sweetie Paradise are bringing their colourful pick 'n' mix sweet van to Bells Farm Shop for visitors to fill up on their favourite treats.

On dates between October 24 to 31, visitors will be able to take their pick from Sweetie Paradise's huge selection of old-fashioned favourites and mouth watering mix bags.

Becketts Farm

The farm shop at Becketts farm has plenty of pumpkins in stock, so grab yours and get carving!

Pumpkins are £1.99 each or two for £3, with free stencils for every purchase.

This year's Pumpkin Parlour has been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, but the bakery team will still be mixing up plenty of gruesome yet tasty sweet treats.

They will also be creating some make your own Halloween cupcake boxes - something to keep your eyes peeled for as there will be prizes for the best decorated Halloween cupcakes.

The coffee shop will also be selling pumpkin spices lattes.
