Baby Merida's safe arrival has been a joyous highlight for her family in what has been a very difficult year.
Merida Simone Cartwright was born to parents Maxine Humphries and Ian Cartwright, of Baxter Gardens, Kidderminster at Russells Hall Hospital on October 9, weighing 7lb 14oz.
Her parents met through their love of archery at a local archery competition.
Mum Maxine said: "Our hopes are that she will take up the much loved sport and maybe one day turn into an Olympic archer for Great Britain!
"2020 has been the hardest year of our life, with Covid and keeping a business afloat. She has been our shining light in our darkest of times."
