The A449 has been closed following a serious accident
THE A449 has been closed at the Black Bridge junction following a serious crash near Kidderminster.
Drivers have been asked to avoid the area if possible.
West Mercia Police tweeted: "Please be advised A449 closed at Black Bridges Junction all directions including A450 Worcester Road towards Shenstone due to a serious RTC. Delays likely."
Worcestershire County Council Highways & Travel tweeted: "A449/A450 near #Kidderminster closed due to serious accident. Please avoid area if possible."
