CLOSED: Sherriff Street
A ROAD has had to close in Worcester due to a substantial water leak that required urgent repair.
Sheriff Street has been closed for the last three hours while Severn Trent Water workers attempt to repair the leak.
A spokesman for Worcestershire County Council said: "Sherriff Street is closed both ways closed due to burst water main between B4637 Tolladine Road and B4636 Newtown Road.
"Access to ALL businesses from Tolladine Road has been maintained as closure is at the Newtown Road end."
