A MAN with links to Stourport is wanted by police in connection with a number of home thefts in Kidderminster and wider Worcestershire.

Police are appealing for the public's help to locate Steven Scarratt.

The 29-year-old is of no fixed abode, but has connection to the Stourport, Evesham and Oxford areas.

Scarratt is wanted in relation to a number of offences, in particlar a series of thefts from homes in Kidderminster, Pershore and Evesham.

A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "We are appealing for the public's help in locating Steven Scarratt.

"Scarratt is 29 years old, of no fixed abode, with connections to Evesham, Stourport and Oxford areas.

"We want to locate him in relation to a number of offences, in particular theft from homes in Pershore, Evesham and Kidderminster."

Officers have issued a warning to members of the public not to approach Scarratt if they see him, and instead to call 101 with any information on his whereabouts.
