The clock is ticking for the people of Stourport if they want to comment on controversial plans for nearly 450 new homes in the town.

Meanwhile details have been revealed of a series of parking changes in Kidderminster.

And more road closures are coming up for drivers across the district in the next few weeks.

Details have been revealed in Public Notices published for Worcestershire and Wyre Forest councils.

Wyre Forest have set the deadline by when people who want to raise any concerns about two major housing schemes in Stourport need to be submitted.

A total of 331 new homes are planned west of Pearl Lane by Barratt Homes while 110 are proposed by Taylor Wimpey for the old Stourport Sixth Form Centre site.

Meanwhile the county council is considering bringing in No Waiting restrictions in Sutton Road and Woodward Road, Kidderminster, and at the same time warning that new parking rules come into force next week at Captain’s Pool Road.

There are road closures due in Broome and Churchill next week and Stourport and Bewdley in February.

There is also a plan for a roof terrace beer patio in Load Street, Bewdley.

Details of all these plans can be seen on the Public Notices page in the Classified section of the paper, or online at www.kidderminstershuttle.co.uk
