THERE was a happy ending to this cat’s snow adventure this morning when its worried owners were tracked down using social media.

The middle-aged tabby and white female had been spotted by a walker curled up in the snow in the woods at Cookley.

It then followed her for 45 minutes before she reached her house and decided the lost little lady needed taking in and looking after.

A phone call to the on-call vets left the missing moggy at Severn Vets in Worcester, who appealed for help in tracking down the owners of the well-looked after but not micro-chipped mog.

And just as The Shuttle was about to launch an appeal to reunite her with her owners, the vets got a call to say: "That’s our cat!”

A snowy "tail" with a happy ending.
