The COVID-19 infection rate in Worcestershire fell to 461.1 cases per 100,000 people in the week up to January 20.

A total of 2,747 cases were recorded in the week - down by just over 14 per cent on the previous week's figures.

The highest infection rate in Worcestershire was in Redditch which had a rate of 681.4 cases per 100,000 people in the week up to January 20.

A total of 581 cases were recorded in the week.

The rate in Redditch had increased by 20 per cent to 720.1 cases per 100,000 people in the week up to January 18 only to fall slightly to 681.4 cases per 100,000 people two days later.

Bromsgrove's infection rate was 465.6 cases per 100,000 people in the week up to January 20 with a total of 465 cases recorded.

The infection rate in Wyre Forest was 336.7 cases per 100,000 people in the week up to January 20.

A total of 341 cases were recorded.

The coronavirus infection rate in the city was 598.7 cases per 100,000 people in the week up to January 20.

Malvern's infection rate was 284.6 cases per 100,000 people in the week up to January 20.

A total of 224 cases were recorded in the week.

The infection rate in Wychavon was 409.5 cases per 100,000 people during the same week.

A total of 530 cases were recorded.
