A MUM has admitted sending a threatening message but denied damaging a man’s car or fighting.

Tanika Attwood, of Avon Road, Kidderminster, is now banned from a street in Worcester as part of her bail conditions and pleaded guilty to the offence at Worcester Crown Court.

The 20-year-old, who is from Worcester, sent the "threatening" message between November 19 and December 5 last year.

However, the mother denied sending another similar communication to a different complainant between the same dates.

She also denied criminal damage to a Seat Leon car on December 4 last year and affray, which is alleged to have happened on the same day.

Amiee Parkes, prosecuting, said these pleas were acceptable to the Crown and the CPS would not be proceeding to trial on the three counts Attwood denied.

Jason Aris, defending, told the court Attwood was of previous good character and asked if a pre-sentence report could be prepared by the probation service ready for the sentencing hearing.

Agreeing to the request, Judge Martin Jackson ordered the report to be prepared and told Mr Aris: "There's obviously some background here."

Attwood's bail conditions are that she must not enter Wheelwright Close in Worcester and must not contact, directly or indirectly, Richard Robinson or Jade Jones.

Judge Jackson said the pre-sentence report would be "all options", which means custody remains on the table to the judge.

Sentencing was adjourned until February 18.

The just warned Attwood: "Make sure you keep your appointments with the probation service."

He said failure to do so would not help her when it came to sentencing.
