ARMED officers and police dogs were seen in a street in Cookley yesterday after reports were received about concerns for a person's welfare.
Police were called to Elm Place shortly after midday on Tuesday, February 2 after receiving a call about concerns for a person's safety.
Kimberlee Avenue was closed while armed officers were at the scene and residents reported seeing police dogs and a riot officer with a shield.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "This was in attendance to a concern for safety, the situation was resolved safely.
"No arrests were made."
An ambulance also attended the incident but was stood down after "no patient was found".
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 12.32pm on Tuesday to reports of concern for a patient’s welfare in Elm Place.
"We sent one ambulance to the scene, but after liaising with police, no patient was found and we were stood down from the scene.”
