A SCHOOL in Stourport is reaching out to its students confined to home learning by taking resources to stop off points across the town for them to collect.

The Stourport High School and Sixth Form College minibus will be out and about every Wednesday from this week until school re-opens to all students.

The vehicle will be stocked with pens and pencils, erasers, rulers and paper, library books, sanitary products, a small treat, fruit and water and useful school contacts cards for students.

Principal Jon Sheers said: “The majority of our students have now spent several weeks working from home and we so proud of how they are coping and producing fantastic work.

“We are conscious that they will be getting short of equipment and books and we also want to support their wellbeing during this time.

"They can’t come to us, so we’ll go to them.”

The minibus will be outside the Radcliffe Arms, Meredith Green, from 10.30am until 10.50am; at the Stourport Community Centre, Lower Lickhill Road, from 11.20am until 11.40am; at the play area on the junction of Hermitage Way and Linden Avenue, from 12pm until 12.20pm; at Areley Kings Village Hall, from 12.30pm until 12.50pm and at the play area in Manor Close from 1.10pm until 1.30pm.
