COMEDY double act Dick and Dom were in the Kidderminster area on Monday, filming scenes for an upcoming episode of the Gadget Show.

The CBBC stars spent the afternoon with a camera crew and Gadget Show presenter Jon Bentley at Bodenham Arboretum, near Wolverley, and will be featuring as guest presenters in a special episode of the Channel 5 programme airing next month.

The duo are best known for presenting the double BAFTA Award winning 'Dick and Dom in da Bungalow', a children's entertainment show that was live during weekend mornings on the BBC, running for five series between 2002 and 2006.

Bodenham Arboretum took to social media to announce their VIP guests on Monday night, declaring 'Dick and Dom were in da Arboretum!'

The pair met the Arboretum's newest arrival, a baby donkey born at the end of November, as well as border collie Elvis and the other animals.

The nature of the scenes filmed at Bodenham will remain a secret until the episode airs, although site owner James Binnian said the Gadget Show producers approached him in need of "a nice place to film nice footage".

James told The Shuttle: "They approached us wanting some footage. I can't say what they're researching, but they spent the whole afternoon here. There was quite a big production team.

"I had a very nice text this morning thanking us for our accommodation and saying the footage they got was exactly what they wanted and more.

"I must say, I got on very well with Dick and Dom and Jon Bentley, they were all very nice people."

People can tune in to the special Gadget Show episode on Friday, March 26 on Channel 5 at 7pm.
