Bosses at the Canterbury Road store have invested £200,000 in the upgrade, which will see the shop move to a premises nearly twice the size.

Shop owner Jordha Sanghera said: “We are pleased to be giving back to our Habberley community and we are looking forward to giving the community something to be excited about.

"We have invested in our local store to ensure all our customers needs are met."

Jordha says the move will "breathe new life into the community" by introducing a much larger range of products and creating up to five new jobs.

The new store will be selling more products from local suppliers, including a freshly-baked range from Kingsfair Baker and a wider range of draft ciders from Midlands-based CiderHouse.
