A WOMAN was taken to hospital this morning after emergency services responded to concerns for her welfare.
British Transport Police were called to a railway line near Kidderminster at 3.51am this morning (23 April).
All lines were temporarily closed until 7am and officers closed Chester Road South in Kidderminster at the Hoo Road Junction.
The woman was taken to a place of safety by police and later taken to Worcester Royal Hospital by an ambulance crew.
A spokesperson from West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “Two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene.
"Once the patient, a female, had been brought to safety, she was assessed by ambulance staff and taken to Worcester Royal Hospital.
