A WOMAN was rushed to hospital after a car crashed into trees in Kidderminster this morning (Wednesday, May 12).
Emergency services were called to Worcester Road just after 2am after a small vehicle had collided with trees near Gamson Close, opposite B&Q, on the Ringway.
A 27-year-old who was trapped in the car was quickly rescued by Hereford and Worcester Fire crews and taken to hospital by West Midlands Ambulance Service.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called by police at 2:08am to a single vehicle RTC on Worcester Road in Kidderminster.
"We sent one ambulance, two paramedic officers and the MERIT trauma car with a critical care doctor and critical care paramedic onboard.
"Crews treated one patient, a woman, who was the driver, for minor injuries, not believed to be serious and she was conveyed to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further treatment.”
