A KIDDERMINSTER animal sanctuary has honoured a living musical legend – by naming a sheep after him!
The Goodheart Farm Animal Sanctuary has named one of its rescued sheep Bob Dylan, in honour of the singer’s 80th birthday.
Dylan, whose previous accolades include being awarded an Oscar, Nobel Prize and numerous Grammys, hits his milestone birthday on Monday, May 24.
Sanctuary co-founder David Walker -a huge Dylan fan – came up with the name after seeing the new arrival’s curly ‘hair-do’.
Sheep Bob is among more than 350 animals at the centre, many of which have been saved from dire conditions in the sheep farming industry.
The sanctuary is now open for pre-booked visits.
