BODENHAM Arboretums's half term trail has returned, this time with the presence of some unique 'tree people.'

The 134 acre site in Wolverely is hosting a trail this May half term where visitors can spot trees dressed up as different characters such as a nurse, chef and fairy.

Kirsty Richards, centre assistant at Bodenham Arboretum said: " We have written little blurbs about each tree we have dressed, such as what their likes are and some puns based around their character.

"We do different trails each year and in the past we have done a fairy and a gnome trail. In the summer we are going to do a giant trail where visitors will ahve to find things that the giant has lost.

"We have done a tree people trail before but we have made it different by giving the trees clothes and stories."

An admission ticket, which is £6.50 for adults and £3.50 for children allows visitors to walk around the rest of the park and farm as well as the trail.

Kirsty added: "It was very busy on bank holiday weekend, especially Sunday and Monday because of the sunny weather. Our slots between 10 am and 2pm have been selling out."

Booking is required for a slot vis the arboretum website.
