A STOURPORT pet lover fears cats may be being stolen in the area after several – including two of her own – went missing.

Colleen Downes is offering a reward for information leading to the safe return of her black long-haired cat Jenny and tabby Heidi.

Jenny, who has a noticeable lump between her two front legs, was first to disappear a year ago, followed by tabby and white female Heidi three weeks ago.

Her friend Maria Bull has also had two cats go missing from her home in Linden Avenue, Kidderminster.

Colleen, aged 85, has made numerous pleas on social media and displayed hundreds of posters in pubs, supermarkets, doctors surgeries and on street lamps and telegraph poles around the area, all to no avail.

She said: “All of this has come to no fruition and we are no closer to finding out what has happened to our beautiful cats.

“The only conclusion we can make is that cats are being stolen.”

Maria’s missing cats are a dark grey chinchilla Persian X Ragdoll, and a one-year-old male called Casper.

Anyone who sees them can call Colleen on 01299 825624 or Maria on 07890 439432.
