The 28-year-old Malvern mum to daughter Penny, 7, and son Arthur, 4, has been fighting hard ever since she was diagnosed with stage three triple negative breast cancer.

She has even taken part in skydives to raise funds but has been told she has exhausted all treatment options available on the NHS.

She has been trying to find £50,000 for pioneering therapy in Mexico and has made one last desperate plea after discovering she has only weeks rather than months left.

It is Lauren's last shot at being able to see Penny and Arthur grow up.

We reported she had less than six months to live earlier this month but more recent tests show her prognosis to be more precarious.

Lauren took to Facebook last night to say: “Thank you all for donating and sharing.

“I’ll pay back every last penny when I’m better and have written my book which would help every triple negative cancer patient.

“Oncology say it’s a rare cancer, it is not a rare cancer, I have met many triple negative cancer patients and we are all younger than 35. Two of them died months before their prognosis.

“I’ve lost three friends to cancer in eight weeks. It is breaking my heart the thought my children may be without a mum just because of money. Why won't oncology treat triple negative?

“I’ve dealt with two big pain transitions unsupported, I thought I was going to die both times and on steroid reduction from 4mg to 1mg I was really ill, collapsed and hospitalised.

“It’s been the toughest two weeks of my life and I’m desperate to get better so I can help others.

“I have been let down by many health professionals and had to fight for what’s right when I work out what's right, but I should not have to.

“The care just is not in place. And my mission is to ensure no one else goes through what I’m going through.

“It’s okay there’s no oncology cure, I’m not blaming them but they need to listen to the fact that natural alternatives are reducing tumours and they should be able to share that with every triple negative cancer they diagnose.

“My oncologist has… only ever sat and gave me bad news, bad news because I have been mistreated.

“I’ve reduced the cancer on my liver from 11 to 4. On my spine its decreased too. They are positive changes.

“It’s spreading too fast in the bones now which is disappointing and scary. I would have my bottom half amputates and be wheelchair bound if that was an option because the whole pelvis and left leg is riddled.

“I just want to be able to help anyone and everyone. I want to educate people on inflammatory diseases and help people achieve preventative measures so they don’t have to have desperate treatment like me.”
