TV star Joe Swash, of Eastenders and I'm a Celeb fame, enjoyed a fishing holiday with family in Wyre Forest this week.

The actor and presenter stayed at a countryside holiday home at Shatterford Lakes, near Bewdley and Kidderminster.

Mr Swash spent some quality time with his son Harry and other members of the family.

Mr Swash, aged 39, was pictured with his son at Shatterford Fishery, with them both holding a fish. He's been sharing photographs of the trip on his Instagram page.

His fiancé, Loose Women's Stacey Solomon, who is currently pregnant, was not on the trip.

On Facebook, the fishery said: "Shatterford has a very special guest this week.

"Joe Swash is having a nice break at one of our countryside holiday homes. He’s spending his week’s holiday seeing what he can grab out of our pools."

Tom Warrington, the owner of Shatterford Lakes was completely surprised when Joe and his family rented one of the holiday homes.

Staff and members sat with the family, and talked rigs, bait and fishing tips.

Mr Warrington said: "It was pretty great to see him. It just shows how good the complex is.

"It was great - he's a lovely chap and really enjoyed his stay. He's on about booking it next year.

"The biggest fish he had was a catfish - 44 lb 5 oz."
