MENTAL health charity, Dudley Mind is set to disaffiliate itself from the Mind network, instead working under the name of Black Country Mental Health.
The move is due to take effect from September 1.
CEO of Dudley Mind, Sandra Vaughan said the decision has not been taken lightly but is the way forward.
"We want to consolidate ourselves within the Black Country, and not just in Dudley,"said Samdra.
"We work in Walsall, Wolverhampton, Sandwell and other areas following the move for local NHS trusts to partner up within the Black Country. and we needed to consolidate it.
"Mind is offering support to our trustees and staff to enable us to manage the transition effectively and make sure nobody is left without support during the transition period.
"There is a lot to put in place before September."

Working under Black Country Mental Health, donations will be used locally rather than within the wider Mind network.
Sandra added: "Lots of people who donate locally think the money will go towards causes locally but it goes to the national federation.
"When we disaffiliate ourselves with Mind, all donations will go towards local causes."
The mayor of Dudley, councillor Anne Millward, named Dudley Mind as one of her chosen charities during her year in office and will continue to support the charity under its new name.
