A CARING Stourport schoolgirl has raised more than £100 for charity after holding a fundraising raffle.

Eight-year-old Phoebe Bowen, of Ullswater Drive, raised £110 for the RSPCA as part of her work to earn her Brownies charity badge.

To mark her achievement, RSPCA inspector Glenn Baird and trustee Nicky Garnett-Giles presented her with a certificate and annual membership to the RSPCA's Animal Action publication.

Phoebe's mum, Gemma, said: "Phoebe really put her heart and soul into this.

"We are all extremely proud of her."
