RISING Kidderminster star Emily Nash jumped on the DJ decks and performed to massive crowds at Creamfields and Leeds Festival on the weekend.

The 20-year-old Tesco worker recently landed a record deal with Ministry of Sound, the world famous 'home of dance music.'

After performing at the iconic festivals, Emily said: "It was great. When I started it was quite empty but by the time I finished the arenas were full.

"Everybody loved it."

Emily is very new to the stage, have only played a couple of shows prior to her debut festival appearances.

She added: "It came naturally - I didn't really feel that nervous either."

Emily attended King Charles I School, studied music production at Kidderminster College and currently works at the Weaver's Wharf Tesco.

She started producing tech house music before moving into the dance music genre.

Some of her influences include Gorgon City, Annie Mac, MK and the Radio One DJ Jaguar, who was one of the champions of her music early on.

Prior to the festivals she played at Nubu in Kidderminster.
