A DRUMMER has set his sights on inspiring the musicians of the future by unveiling his new Stourport music school.

Seb Baldwin has opened Leading Note Music School in a studio just off the town’s High Street in a bid to teach and develop young and more experienced musicians who are keen to learn and improve their playing.

Mr Baldwin, aged 25, has been playing drums for almost 13 years but will be offering a range of lessons for all ages with tuition in guitar, drums, ukulele, vocals and piano.

He also plans to expand to offer group workshops and putting on live events in Wyre Forest where his students can showcase their talents.

The launch of the music school comes off the back of success Seb has seen as the drummer in local four-piece guitar band Big Image, who have built an following across the UK and recently signed their first record deal.

Mr Baldwin said: “Music is my passion and I want to help develop anyone and help improve their playing and their confidence – also introducing people to new instruments they might never have considered.

“The launch of the music school allows me to do that but I want to take it much wider by offering group sessions and even live gigs where my students can show music fans what they’ve got. I know really well how playing live can really fuel the musical fire so I want others to have that buzz and experience.”

“The school is all about people from all ages and abilities getting involved and I am delighted with the response so far.”

Leading Note Music Studio is situated on Stourport High Street behind the Worley’s at the Swan pub. For further information readers can contact Seb through 07721 582072 or email leadingnotemusicschool@gmail.com.
