STOURPORT residents got into the party spirit on Saturday as they celebrated the return of the town's long-running festival.
Carnival Vibes, which featured a parade live music and a firework display at Riverside Meadows was hailed a success by its organisers.
Music acts included X Factor contestant Richard Ryan and Kidderminster music and comedy duo The Follicles. The carnival ended with an exciting firework display
A spokesperson for the carnival said: "Carnival Vibes exceeded our expectations beyond belief!
"It was fantastic to see so many people out in the sunshine having fun and enjoying the entertainment.
"We’ve had brilliant feedback so far with people telling us what a memorable event it’s been.
"We are a very small committee who work extremely hard to bring this event to the town each year so it’s lovely to hear such positive feedback.
"Planning for next year will start soon…watch this space."
