POLICE have launched an investigation after a fire was started at the former Stourport Sports and Leisure Centre.
The derelict building, on Harold Davies Drive, is boarded up and out of bounds to members of the public.
The building was damaged after the fire, which was started just before 1pm on Sunday (September 12).
Two Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wyre Forest Fire Station were called the blaze.
A spokesperson said: "The fire was in the ground floor of a derelict building and was fought by two firefighters using breathing apparatus with one hosereel jet. The building was ventilated. There were no casualties."
West Mercia Police has confirmed that an investigation has now been launched.
