A MUCH-loved resident of a Kidderminster care home celebrated her 100th birthday earlier this week.
Centenarian Beryl Truswell, a resident at Offmore Farm Residential Home, celebrated her birthday with family on Tuesday (September 14).
A special party was held by staff at the home on Monday, featuring a singer and party games.
Her son Kevin said: "I think she really enjoyed it. She was having a laugh and it was really nice to see."
Beryl has been has lived at the residential home since April 2019 and has become a "much-loved member of the Offmore family."
Gwyneth Pugh, activities coordinator at the care home, said: "She's a lovely lady and loves to take part in everything.
"She's a very active member of the home. We had a singer and some party games on Monday for her.
"She's been showered with flowers and presents. "
