TWO men have been arrested after fleeing into a Wetherspoon's pub in Birmingham armed with machetes.
The pair are believed to have been involved in a disorder nearby.
It happened in Corporation Street by the Square Peg at around 5.15pm on October 1.
Staff reported two teenagers running into the pub, one of whom was bleeding from a head wound.
Two machetes were seized from the pub and both men were arrested on suspicion of possessing knives.
Police were told staff quickly locked up to ensure no-one followed the pair inside - no customers or staff were hurt.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We believe the two had been involved in a disorder nearby and our officers are looking for others who may have been involved.
"These are understood to be targeted attacks between groups, not random attacks in the street."
Anyone with video footage or information of the incident is urged contact police quoting log 3242 from October 1.
