A KIDDERMINSTER woman has been heavily fined after she was caught using a mobile phone at the wheel.
Isobelle Young, of Whittall Drive East, has been ordered to pay more than £1,500 after using the device whilst driving a car without third party insurance and otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
The 45-year-old was caught driving the Vauxhall car on Clee Avenue, Kidderminster, in February this year.
She appeared at Herefordshire Magistrates' Court last Thursday (September 30) and was ordered to pay £1,542.
Young must pay two £660 fines for the charges of driving whilst using a mobile phone and driving without third party insurance.
She must also pay victim surcharge of £132, and costs of £90.
Young was also disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for six months - which was obligatory due to repeat offending.
