POLICE have issued an appeal for information after a gang of yobs reportedly threw items at cars in Stourport.

Officers were made aware of a group of five or six teenagers on push bikes causing anti-social behaviour.

On Saturday evening (October 9), Wyre Forest Police posted on Facebook that reports of youths throwing items at vehicles on Lickhill Road and verbally abusing members of the public at the War Memorial Park.

They posted: "Stourport SNT have been made aware of a group of 5/6 males aged 14/15yrs on pushbikes causing ASB on Memorial Park, Stourport.

"Reports made were that the youths were throwing items at passing vehicles on Lickhill Road, Stourport and also giving verbal abuse to members of the public walking through the park.

"1 youth is described at wearing an all light grey tracksuit on a electric scooter and another youth was wearing a blue parker style coat with fur trimmed hood.

"Any persons with information about these youths please email stourport.snt@westmercia.pnn.police.uk"
