VOLUNTEERS are needed to help with the roll out of Covid-19 booster jabs in Worcestershire.

Here2Help from Worcestershire County Council are on the lookout for more volunteers, having already helped out at local vaccination clinics throughout this year.

As demand for jabs increase, Here2Help need more volunteers to step forward, get involved and give their support.

Here2Help volunteers will support the NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire Clinical Commissioning Group with welcoming, stewarding and supporting nursing staff at the Covid vaccine booster clinics across the county.

County Councillor Matt Dormer, cabinet member for Communities said: "This is another great opportunity for people in Worcestershire to get involved with the response to the pandemic.

"This is also a chance to become part of the biggest and most successful vaccination programme in public health service history.

"Volunteering is known to be a great benefit for people, a way to connect with others, promote a sense of purpose and give back to the local community. Local volunteers are really needed to support this rollout. By becoming part of the Here2Help service local you can do your bit to help keep your local communities safe."
