A STOURPORT caravan park has exchanged hands for the first time in 50 years.

Severnside Holiday Park on Sandy Lane has been sold to new owners by Savills after it was put on the market.

The guide price was offers in excess of £2.75 million. The holiday park, which currently has 145 caravan pitches, also has planning permission for 179 static caravan pitches.

Facilities on the caravan park include a children’s play area and a heated outdoor swimming pool with terrace.

Severnside Holiday Park is located on the riverside, with residents having direct access to the Severn Way path which leads to Stourport to the north, and past Stourport Marina to the south. 

The route extends as far as Bristol to the south and the Welsh hills to the North West.
