Stourport Floral Art Club

On the 25th of October we were delighted to welcome Members and Guests to our first demonstration since the onset of the pandemic. Lorna Hill produced some lovely colourful arrangements whilst reflecting on experiences during her visit to India. Everyone was happy to be back.

Our next meeting will be on the 29th of November at 7:30 at the Elizabeth Mills Centre. Demonstrator Sally Mills - Sallying Forth once again. Visitors will be very welcome.

Kidderminster DY11 6DN, BEWDLEY 12pm to 2pm Friday, St Anne’s Church Load Street, Bewdley DY12 2AE, STOURPORT 3pm to 5pm Tuesday, Stourport Library Civic Centre, New Street Stourport DY13 8UN.

Bewdley Rotary Club

The Rotary Club held a presentation event at the Pines Golf Club where 13 local charities benefited from a Golf weekend organized by the Rotary Club

Over £5,000 was raised though sponsorship raffles and a nearest the pin competition to enable the club to support these local charities.

All the recipients, in thanking the Rotary Club of Bewdley, explained the work they were doing and the needs they where addressing in the community ..

The recipients were: Bewdley & District Guides, Barnardos, Kidderminster Branch West Mercia Women’s Aid, Kidderminster & District Prostate Cancer Support Group, Salvation Army Kidderminster, Wyre Forest Food Bank, Community Transport , Far Forest Scouts, Bewdley Rotary Community Service, The Bewdley Scout Group, The Kidderminster Food Bank, The 14th Wyre Forest Scout group and Bewdley Rotaract & Interact Clubs.
