THEATRE fans are invited to an enchanting evening in Kidderminster as part of a new production at the Rose.

The Nonentities Society at the theatre are set to stage their latest play, The Secret Garden, for a string of shows starting next week.

It tells the story of the recently orphaned Mary - a little girl who loves no one and whom no one loves.

She is sent to live with her uncle in the bleak and gloomy Misselthwaite Manor, a place steeped in sadness and secrets, but one of those secrets is a garden full of colour and life and blossoming hope.

Theatre goers can join the Nonentities as they tell the classic tale about the redemptive power of love, friendship and transformation.

Based on the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, The Secret Garden will run at the Rose Theatre from November 29 to December 4.

Tickets for the Secret Garden can be purchased from the box office on 01562 743745 or online at www.rosetheatre.co.uk
