A HALESOWEN burger eaterie has scored a five star rating from food hygiene inspectors.

Buckin' Big Burgers at the Rose And Crown pub in Hagley Road, Halesowen, was given a new top rating of five stars on November 23, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The FSA rates businesses from zero to five so that customers can make more informed choices about where to buy and eat food.

A rating of five means hygiene standards are very good, four means hygiene standards are good, three means hygiene standards are generally satisfactory, two means some improvement is necessary, a rating of one means major improvement is necessary and a rating of zero means urgent improvement is required.

Buckin' Big Burgers, which has a 4.6 out of 5 satisfaction rating on Deliveroo, was rated good for the hygienic handling of food and for the cleanliness and condition of the facilities/building, and very good for the management of food safety.
