POLICE have been carrying out patrols outside a primary school in Brierley Hill to crack down on inconsiderate motorists.

Brierley Hill Police officers have been patrolling outside St Mary's Primary School in Mill Street - as part of a drive to curb poor parking outside the borough's schools.

Police said a number of drivers were advised to park more considerately and not to stop on double yellows lines outside the school.

Stourbridge Police carried out patrols outside The Kingsway on November 29 to keep an eye on school-run motorists and they warned they would be changing locations as the weeks go by.

Meanwhile, Brierley Hill Police were patrolling outside Church of Ascension Primary School in Wall Heath on November 12.

Parents with children at Gig Mill Primary School in Norton have also been hit with a warning recently to park more carefully after residents complained their drives were being blocked completely by inconsiderate school run motorists.
