A PLANNING application has been submitted to build brand new homes in Stourport.

The plan is for two new detached houses with four bedrooms on land facing the Hartlebury Road.

The site has had several applications for new homes approved previously by Wyre Forest District Council.

The new application was submitted just before Christmas.

In front of the site there is a bus stop and lay-by. Part of the plan is to relocate the bus stop and bus shelter and to re-instate the kerb and pavement.

A drop kerb in Hartlebury Road is also proposed to access both homes.

The scheme allows for enough hardstanding area in front of each home for parking two cars and enough area to turn around and be able to drive forward while exiting the site, according to the plans.
