BROMYARD Town manager Jordan Lewis has challenged his side to impact the top four battle when they host Droitwich Spa this weekend.

Town sit poised just three points behind their visitors in the West Midlands Division One battle.

Lewis and several Bromyard players used to be at Droitwich adding to the derby feel.

"Before a ball has been kicked you know Droitwich is going to be a tough game," said Lewis.

"If you finish above them then you're probably winning the league.

"I think we are having a good season and probably surprised a few from the outside.

"I'm not so surprised with our squad, what I have asked the lads to do is affect the top four more, we currently only have one win against those sides so hopefully that starts Saturday.

"There are former players of the clubs on both sides, brothers on both sides, I was previously with Droitwich too as well, as is normal being the local derby in that league.

"There should be plenty in it. We are expecting a good crowd Saturday at Delahay Meadow and it should be a good advertisement for non league."
