CELEBRITIES have been congratulating Worcestershire singer Becky Hill after she picked up an award at this year's Brits.

The Bewdley-born singer won Best Dance Act and was presented with the iconic award by legendary DJ's Pete Tong and David Guetta.

The pop singer posted that she was still on a high after Tuesday night's award show.

Taking to Instagram, she shared a video of her teary acceptance and wrote: "Still not over it, don’t think I ever will be! I have the best fans in the world."

Fans and celebrities have been praising the singer whose hits include My Heart Goes (La Di Da), Last Time and Remember.

Pop star Will.iam, who was a judge when Becky appeared on The Voice in 2012, wrote: "BOOM!!! I’m so proud of you!!! wow wow wow… Congrats Becky!!!"

Fellow Best Dance Act nominee Raye tweeted: "And @BeckyHill had me all emotional receiving best dance, not behind someone else, just her!

"you have worked so hard, it’s a different kinda worth ethic fire passion u have to have as a woman in this ting mad proud of you women are incredible I’m proud of us"

On Instagram, pop star Example replied to Becky's post writing: "I don’t care about awards but I see **** like this and I’m just like "YEP"."

Olly Alexander from Years and Years wrote: "CONGRATS BECKY XX" while DJ Sub Focus said: "Well deserved Becky!"

DJ Marc Kinchen, aka MK, congratulated the singer: "I Called it when I first heard your voice ! This is only the beginning, congratulations QUEEN!!"

This was Becky's first BRIT Award win, and she struggled to hold back her tears when she took the stage.

During her acceptance speech, she said: "I just want to say, this was fan-voted for and in the two weeks that people could vote for I have never been so heart-warmed and touched by all of my fans who just wanted to see me do well and support me.

"Thank you so much for making this a possibility for me."

She went on to thank fans once again on social media, writing: "this brit award is ours, couldn’t have done it without my BH family. love you all, i don’t have the words xxxxx"

Up-and-coming Kidderminster DJ Emily Nash was ecstatic after meeting her "inspiration" Becky Hill at a Brit Awards party.

Producer Emily Nash, who works at the Weaver's Wharf Tesco, congratulated the Bewdley-born singer after she took home the award for best Dance Act.

The Kidderminster producer, who recently signed to Ministry of Sound, has described Becky as an "absolute legend" and an "inspiration."
