A TEEN star from Kidderminster is back on the screen as a cast member of an award-nominated TV show.
Katelyn-Janet Rollason, of Foley Park, plays schoolgirl Molly in the new series of the CBBC comedy Class Dismissed.
The children's sketch show is about the life and times of a group of youngsters and their eccentric teachers at Dockbridge High.
"It's the school every kid would want to go to basically," Katelyn-Janet's mum Nicola said.
The show has been nominated in the Best Comedy Sketch Show category of the Comedy.co.uk Awards 2021, run by the British Comedy Guide.
The programme was one of just six to make it through to the TV sketch show shortlist.
Previously, the 13-year-old actress appeared alongside Bradley Walsh, Craig Revel Horwood, Ruth Jones and Helen George in the 'Nativity Rocks!' Christmas movie.
She later toured as part of the Nativity! The Musical cast, singing and dancing in theatres all over the country. She also appeared on the Jane McDonald and Friends Christmas show.
Nicola, aged 38, added: "We are immensely proud of her achievements and drive, especially as every part of her life has been impacted by Covid."
"The fact that it's nominated for a comedy award is an even better achievement."
People can watch the series on CBBC and it's also available on BBC iPlayer.
