A KIDDERMINSTER pub has received a prestigious award from members of the Wyre Forest Branch of CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale).
The group votes each season to determine the best local establishment and have named The Bear and Wolf on Worcester Street as its 'Pub of the Season Winter 2021/22.'
CAMRA Branch chairman, Rob Budworth, said: “In making their choice, members commented on the ever-changing variety of interesting beers and consistent quality. The pub provides a good place for conversation in a comfortable atmosphere with friendly, attentive and knowledgeable bar staff on hand.
“The Bear and Wolf opened in 2019 and has become an established part of Kidderminster’s pub scene, surviving Lockdown by offering beer deliveries and engaging with its customers.”
The Bear and Wolf features regular live music at weekends, and pub quizzes and open mic nights alternate on Sunday nights.
